Confidence starts in the body – how Kinesiology can help
Let’s talk confidence, shall we?
Not the loud, performative kind that pushes through every social situation like a freight train. I mean the quiet, steady kind. The kind that lets you speak your truth without your voice shaking. The kind that lets you trust yourself, back yourself, and follow through with that dream you’ve been quietly holding in your heart. The kind that doesn’t crumble when someone else shines, because you know there’s room for you too.
And yet… for so many of us, confidence can feel a bit like a unicorn — beautiful, magical, but forever out of reach.
I am mostly confident. I know myself well; my triggers, my annoyances and what makes my heart sing. I can hold my own and speak out when needed. I know what I need and want, and I generally go for it.
But it’s not always been like that. I have shrunk into the shadows for fear of being seen in a negative light. I’ve compared myself to others (and we all know where that leads!). I have been overly boisterous and loud to cover up my lack of confidence and self-worth.
Those moments of low self-esteem when I fell into “Over or Under Importance” took me out of myself, my sovereignty and the present moment.
What causes low confidence?
Low confidence doesn’t appear out of nowhere. It’s often brewed over years — sometimes decades — of little moments that chip away at your self-worth.
Maybe it started with a critical parent, a teacher who told you to stop being "too much", or an ex who made you feel small. Maybe it was the silent pressure to be a perfect mum, partner, friend, employee… and the never-ending voice in your head whispering “you’re not doing enough.”
Sound familiar?
Low confidence is usually rooted in:
Negative past experiences or trauma
Unrealistic self-expectations
Comparison (hello social media scroll spiral)
Lack of support or encouragement
A general feeling of not being enough (ugh, that old chestnut)
But here’s the good news — confidence isn’t something you're either born with or without. It’s something you can build. And it doesn’t have to be done with grit-your-teeth-and-push-through hustle. It can be soft. Gentle. Spirit-led. And even a little magical.
That’s where kinesiology and guided energy work come in.
Building Confidence with Zode Kinesiology
When a woman walks into my space in Maroubra, Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs, and shares that her confidence is at an all-time low, I can feel the possibility already stirring. I know she’s about to remember her power. And honestly? That moment lights me up every single time.
Sometimes, even after just one session, clients tell me they feel clearer, more grounded, and yes — more confident.
But how does that happen?
Well, we don’t just slap a positive affirmation on the situation and send you on your way. We go deeper — gently, safely, and with full permission to feel what needs to be felt.
Here’s how kinesiology supports confidence:
1. We get to the root of the issue (not just the symptoms)
Confidence doesn’t break overnight, and it won’t truly rebuild unless we understand why it crumbled in the first place. Through muscle testing and deep listening, I help you uncover the subconscious beliefs and old emotional patterns that have been running the show.
Maybe it’s “I’m not good enough,” “I don’t deserve to be happy,” or “I can’t trust myself.”
We don’t judge these beliefs — we just see them. And once they’re seen, we can begin to shift them.
2. We connect your body, mind, and spirit
Kinesiology works through the body’s energetic systems — the chakras, meridians, and emotional pathways — to release stagnation and bring flow back where it’s been stuck.
With tools like:
Acupressure and gentle muscle monitoring
Essential oils and crystal therapy
Guided visualisations and breathwork
Chakra and meridian balancing
Core belief transformation
...you begin to feel your energy shift. It’s like clearing out the clutter in a house you forgot you owned. You start to feel your power again — and that’s where confidence is born.
3. You feel seen, heard, and safe
This is big. Confidence grows when you’re met with unconditional acceptance. In a session, you’re not expected to “fix” anything. You get to show up messy, unsure, overwhelmed — and still be met with deep compassion and belief in your potential.
You are held, honoured, and gently guided to reconnect with your inner truth. And there’s something profoundly healing about that.
4. You create the change
One of my favourite parts of this work? I don’t “do” the healing to you — you activate it yourself. I simply hold the map, guide the energy, and walk beside you as you find your way home.
When the nervous system feels calm, the heart feels heard, and your energy is flowing again… confidence blooms naturally. You remember who you are.
Confidence isn’t something you chase — it’s something you come back to.
You were never broken. You were never behind. You just forgot. Life got loud. The “shoulds” stacked up. And your own voice got drowned out.
But your confidence? It’s still there. Maybe a little dusty, maybe a little buried — but always within you.
And when you take the time to pause, tune in, and receive the support your soul is craving… magic happens.
As the Dalai Lama so beautifully said:
"With realisation of one's own potential and self-confidence in one's ability, one can build a better world."
Let’s start with your world.
Let’s clear out the old beliefs, unstick the stuck energy, and reconnect you to the version of you that’s bold, brilliant, and unapologetically herself.
Because your children are watching. Your dreams are waiting. And the world needs more women who remember their power.

You don’t have to do this alone — and honestly, healing doesn’t have to feel heavy. Sometimes it’s laughter through tears. Sometimes it’s a quiet exhale after weeks of gripping hold. Sometimes it’s the deep knowing that you’re exactly where you’re meant to be.
And sometimes… it’s just time.
Ready to step into your confidence and feel the shift for yourself?
Let’s make it happen. Your soul’s been waiting long enough.
