Kinesiology for kids to teens

I know kinesiology works. Kids in particular embrace its gentle, creative approach. As they learn how to breathe properly, calm their nervous system and express their emotions they find a deeper awareness of themselves that builds a solid foundation for their growth.

Kinesiology is a natural therapy, powerful, yet safe, for everyone, including children

At Zode, I work with children up to 17 years old. These sessions are similar to adults but I cater to each child’s individual needs, behaviours and challenges. Now with the Primitive Reflexes work, I can reach the root cause of your child’s learning, development and behavioural challenges. We can turn off the big emotions.

Kinesiology is growing in popularity due to its ability to help people move through their issues permanently. This means it’s great for kids as they are so open and trusting, able to shift and change easily and generally still have a strong connection to their heart and that beautiful sense of wonder and curiosity.

It is vital, in our first session with your child, to build trust and help your child feel safe at Zode and with me. This can lead to a strong trusting connection that I have seen grow through the years. Many of the children I saw when they were little, still come to me through their teenage years when things are going a little pear shaped - I attribute this to the work we have done and the trust we have built.

For an initial session I like to see the parent also. I offer a child /parent session at a discounted rate which means I see you both individually, at the start of our journey together.

Our little clients told us…

  • “I love you Zoe. You helped me feel happy and I have lots of friends and I have fun with my friends.”

  • “Zoe is funny. I love all her crystals and oils. It’s like magic when she does the thing with my arm”

  • “My mum took me to Zoe and I liked it. She makes magic potions and I love her little dog Ooni.”

The use of muscle monitoring means that children, who are often less inhibited than adults, can connect to their issue or pain easily. This coupled with other techniques such as working with the nervous system, reflexes, self-confidence and family dynamics can bring a significant change in your child.

The difference may be so profound that you might actually want to book yourself in for a session too.

Additional offerings

  • I get it, some people like to experience something before they commit to a full session. So after our free curiosity chat you may prefer to book a Kinesiology Taster. This is a 45min experience of kinesiology, a chance to see our clinic and to meet Zoe to see if we’re “a right fit” before you commit to a session. These can be done online or face-to-face.

Our 45min Kinesiology Taster is $145. It is no obligation and we only address one issue so please be clear on what you’d like to work on. If you do decide to proceed you will enjoy $20 off your next session.

  • These are offered after your initial session and are paid up front. They consist of 5 follow up sessions and offer a great saving. Packages are our most popular option. They have an 12month expiry date so plenty of time to use the sessions between the busy-ness of life.

  • A 2 hour session which starts at our Maroubra Clinic where we will identify what you are holding onto and want to release.

Then we drive to a natural environment to ceremoniously release these pent up emotions. Incorporates ritual, prayer, movement, release and clearing.

    Price $350

  • These is an opportunity for couples to attend a 90min session together. It is not counselling, but rather a chance to be heard and guided into new ways to relate and communicate. Both individuals must attend an initial session first.

    Cost: $350

Healing crystals for Kinesiology

With knowledge comes power so I provide a free, short summary of your session. This will usually outline what we covered in the session and explain the tools if these were included. I give some guidance on appropriate home play for you to work on between sessions and an opportunity to join our community and leave a testimonial.

Kinesiology for Kids - FAQ’s

  • Kinesiology offers many benefits for children, including improved physical movement and development, focus and learning and supports emotional regulation. We can gently calm the nervous system and open lines of communication so your child feels heard and understood by someone other than you, their primary supporter.

It can help address issues like anxiety, low confidence, sleep problems, and behavioural challenges. Kinesiology is a non-invasive and gentle approach that can be tailored to each child's specific needs.

  • I work with both kids, teens and adults with kinesiology. Each age group is approached differently, depending on their challenges, attention, nervous system and root cause of the the issues they see me with. With kids I always start with setting a safe space so they feel safe and can trust me. Nervous system work is vital and then we use tools, tricks, laughter and a relaxed atmosphere to being the session.

  • Yes you can depending on their age and ability to take instruction. If the child is injured, unable to settle or too young (under 4) then I set up a surrogacy with the child’s parent or carer. It’s effective and simple. I also may use a pendulum or intuitive guidance for answers.

  • I tend to work mostly with school aged children (primary and high school). A child is considered under 17 years of age. The youngest child I have worked with was 4 months old with sleep issues. Children aged 0-5 years are accepted for sessions at my discretion.

  • Yes and before you ask - yes it is safe. All essence’s are safe for children. At times I make up magic potion roller bottles with essential oils but these are heavily diluted and I only use oils that are safe with children’s skin. After the initial session every child will be given hard form crystal as a way of thanking them for being so helpful in the session.
